Council Adopts the 2026 Municipal Budget

At its regular monthly meeting, Council adopted the Rural Municipality of Malpeque Bay's 2026 budget. The budget maintains the lowest municipal tax rate in PEI while investing in the new Emergency Reception Centre, upkeep of the Malpeque, Sea View, and Spring Valley community halls, road maintenance, and support for community events. A copy of the adopted budget is available at the municipal office at Malpeque Hall, 2205 Route 20. All residents are welcome at monthly Council meetings.
